- With your other hand, stretch the skin where hair is to be removed, as necessary.
Stretch your leg when removing hair behind the knee. When removing armpit
hair, stretch your arms so that the skin is taut.
Note:
Initially, you might experience slight discomfort since the hairs are removed
by the root. This feeling diminishes with subsequent use, even if your skin is sen-
sitive. After continuous usage, the hair regrows more slowly, and comes in finer.
Results last up to 4 to 6 weeks. We advise you to epilate in the evening. Any skin
irritation can thus disappear overnight.
Caution!
• Do not use the appliance on moles or birthmarks. Moles and birthmarks must not
be scratched, pulled out, or epilated. This represents a health risk.
• Removing hair at the root may cause redness or skin irritations. This is a normal
reaction of short duration. If these irritations last more than three days, consult
your doctor.
• In order to avoid accidents, keep the appliance away from the hair on your head,
eyebrows and eyelashes, and away from clothing, brushes, threads, string, sho-
elaces, etc.
5 | Cleaning and maintenance
The routine maintenance program below must absolutely be followed to ensure
that the device operates adequately and under the conditions of maximum safety
even long after the original purchase date.
Cleaning the Epilation Head:
Press with your finger on the backside of the epilation Protection cap (C) & pull it
out. Scrub with the brush (K) from back to front. Turn the epilation head manual
-
ly with your fingers. The brush can be soaked in alcohol. The water jet must be
sufficiently powerful to remove the hairs in the tweezers. On completion of the
cleaning, dry the head thoroughly.
Cleaning and storing:
• Only use mild cleaning agents
• Store in a clean, dry place
• Avoid high temperature and direct sunlight
