FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE

The treadmill console offers an impressive array of

features designed to make your workouts more effec-

tive and enjoyable.

When the manual mode of the console is selected, you

can change the speed and incline of the treadmill with

the touch of a button. As you exercise, the console will

display instant exercise feedback. You can even mea-

sure your heart rate using the handgrip pulse sensor.

In addition, the console offers sixteen quick calorie

burn workouts. Each workout automatically controls

the speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you

through an effective exercise session.

The console also features the new iFit interactive work-

out system. The iFit system enables the console to ac-

cept iFit interactive workout cards containing workouts

designed to help you achieve specific fitness goals. For

example, lose unwanted pounds with the 8-week

Weight Loss workout. iFit workouts automatically con-

trol the treadmill while the voice of a personal trainer

coaches you through every step of your workout. iFit

cards are available separately.

To purchase iFit cards

at any time, go to www.iFit.com or call the tele-

phone number on the front cover of this manual.

iFit cards are also available at select stores.

You can even listen to your favorite workout music or

audio books with the consoleʼs premium stereo sound

system while you get in shape.

To turn on the power,

see page 16.

To use the man-

ual mode,

see page 16.

To use a preset workout,

see page 18.

To use an iFit workout,

see page 19.

To use the information mode,

see page 20.

To use

the stereo sound system,

see page 20.

IMPORTANT: If there is a sheet of plastic on the

console, remove the plastic. To prevent damage to

the walking platform, wear clean athletic shoes

while using the treadmill. The first time the tread-

mill is used, observe the alignment of the walking

belt, and center the walking belt if necessary (see

page 24).

Note: The console can display speed and distance in

either miles or kilometers. To find out which unit of

measurement is selected or to change the unit of mea-

surement, see THE INFORMATION MODE on page

20. For simplicity, all instructions in this section refer to

miles.
