2.3. Pre-assembly of the Anemometer.

Insert the cup assembly onto the shaft and secure the screw.

Ensure that the cup assembly is properly seated on the shaft.

DON’T OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREW !
2.4. Installing the EOS-500.
The pole for the Wind vane / anemometer should be about 2” (5 cm) in diameter. Ensure that the pole
you select for the unit is strong enough to withstand high winds and will not cause any bending or
vibration.

Use a wrench to secure the ¼” U-bolts.

Ensure that the “N” on the housing will point towards North or the Bow of the vessel.
