All systems self clean and are specified to last up to 10 years before any filter media replacement based on usage and water conditions.

About 22% of people have tap water treated with chloramine (a corrosive combination of chlorine and ammonia). Chloramine requires more contact time (vs. chlorine)
through a specialized filtration media to effectively filter it out of the water. EWS has designed systems specifically for handling chloramine (and does everything else the chlorine
