802.11a/b/g PC Card Installation and Specifications 2-23
WPA-Passphrase
Enables WPA ‐ Pre Shared Key (PSK).
To select WPA ‐ PSK, follow these steps:
1. Click the WPA ‐ Passphrase radio button.
2. Click Configure .
The Define WPA PSK dialog box appears.
3. Enter a Passphrase between 8 and 64 characters.
4. Click OK to save settings.
802.1x
Enables 802.1x security. This option requires IT administration.
To select 802.1x, follow these steps:
1. Click the 802.1x radio button.
2. Click the arrow in the 802.1x EAP Type menu list and select one of the options:
PEAP (EAP ‐ MSCAHP ‐ V2), EAP ‐ TTLS, and EAP ‐ TLS.
3. Click Configure and complete the appropriate configuration information.
For information on configuring the various 802.1x EAP types, see EAP type descriptions
under WPA on page 2 ‐ 19.
4. Optionally, click the Allow Association to Mixed Cells check box to allow these associations.
5. Click OK to save settings.
