IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION
• Installation should be carried out in accordance with the current edition of the National Wiring Regulations. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
• Read these instructions carefully and ensure you have all the tools required to assist with the installation of the luminaire.
• Before commencing installation or maintenance, ensure electricity is switched off at the mains.
• Maximum Input Voltage– 240VAC 50Hz
• These luminaires operate when the voltage between PL and N is between 200-240V.
• Ensure that ALL electrical connections are tight with no loose strands.
• Permanent Live Brown - (PL), Neutral Blue - (N), Switch Live Brown - (SL), Earth Green/Yellow-

• Class I, mains voltage, These luminaires must be earthed.
• These luminaires are IP20 and not suitable for damp locations.
• These luminaires are for indoor use only.
• LED charge indicator: Green (RED for Australia) - Charging. When the power is off the luminaire will operate in the Emergency mode and the indicator light will be off.
• The rated duration time of the Emergency operation is 3 hours. If it no longer meets the 3hr duration time then the luminaire must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• These luminaires are Non-dimmable and must not be used with a dimmer.
• This luminaire has a built in Constant Current Self Equivalent LED Driver.
• Maximum ambient temp - ta: 40oC.
• Cross section of conductors - 16-22AWG.
• This luminaire

be installed close to any heat sources.
• If the external exible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, replacement of complete luminaire is required. This must be done by a qualified electrician.

• Working Temperature: 0°C~+40°C
• These luminaires are fitted with a test button to check the emergency mode. When the power is on, press and hold the test button to turn on Emergency mode. When the button is released the luminaire will return to the normal mode.
• When charged, the Battery/Invertor unit will provide power to the fitting during an interruption in the power supply.
• After installation the luminaire should be routinely tested by qualified and competent personnel using the schedule provided on the back of this installation guide.
• This luminaire has no user-replacable parts. Replacement of complete luminaire or battery pack as appropriate is required when the battery or LEDs no longer meet their rated duration of operation.
