If the plug, mains cable or appliance is damaged, im-
mediately remove the mains plug from the power
socket.
If the thermostat's mains cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer (or relevant custom-
er service) or other suitably qualified person. This is to
avoid hazards.
There are dangerous voltages inside the appliance.
Never open the housing or slide objects into the venti-
lation slots.
To completely disconnect the appliance from the pow-
er supply, the mains plug must be removed from the
earthed mains socket.
Appliances connected to the mains during a thunder-
storm may be damaged by power surges. You should
therefore always unplug the plug during thundery
conditions.
Only have repairs to the appliance or mains plug car-
ried out by an authorised repair workshop or the Ser-
vice Centre. Incorrectly performed repair work might
cause significant risks to the user.
Do not place the appliance near to sinks and do not ex-
pose it to water droplets or spray.
Never immerse the appliance in liquids!
If the appliance has been moved from a cold room to
a warm room, wait before connecting the mains plug
to the power supply. The resulting condensation may
damage the appliance. The appliance can be operated
safely as soon as it has reached room temperature.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
