CONNECTIONS
LINE IN mode
The
LINE (1, 2)
socket allows you to connect 2 external playback devices with a built-
in amplifier (such as a CD player or MP3 player) to the party speaker.
First, switch off the party speaker.
Switch off your external device.
Plug the end of a 3.5 mm jack cable (not supplied with the device) into the
LINE1
or
LINE2
socket on the party speaker.
Connect the other end of the cable to your external device.
Switch on your external device.
Switch on the party speaker.
Press the
SOURCE
button for the desired
channel
(CH1/CH2)
several times until
AUX
is shown on the corresponding display.
Start audio playback on your external device.
The audio signal from your external device will now be played through the party
speaker.
Playback is controlled via the corresponding buttons on the party speaker.
USB mode
Insert the USB memory device into the USB port.
Press the
SOURCE
button until you see
USB
in the display.
Audio playback starts automatically.
Playback is controlled via the corresponding buttons on the party speaker.
When connecting USB memory devices, observe the following instruc-
tions:
•
Due to the numerous different file systems and file formats, the connected stor-
age media cannot be guaranteed to function.
•
Depending on the size of the data medium, it may take some time for the system
to be detected.
•
Supported file systems are FAT16 and FAT32. The supported file format is MP3.
•
External hard disks are not supported.
