Adjusting the Drilling bench
1. Release the lock handle (15)
2. Push the drilling bench (20) to the desired
height.
3. Pivot the drilling bench (20) to the desired
position.
4. Fasten the drilling bench (20) again with
the lock handle (15).
5. You can also adjust the tilt angle of the
drilling bench (20). Release the retaining
screw for drilling bench inclination (19)
under the drilling bench (20). Tilt the
drilling bench (20) as desired to the right
or left up to a max. of 45º and secure the
drilling bench (20) again with the retaining
screw for drilling bench inclination (19).
Preselecting the Drilling depth
1. Release the locking screw of the depth stop
(8).
2. Turn the scale of drilling depth (9) to the
desired depth until the red marking arrow is
pointing to the desired drilling depth on the
scale.
3. Then fasten the locking screw of the depth
stop (8).
Adjusting the height of safety guard
1. Release the two knobs of the safety guard
(21) on both sides .
2. Adjusting the safety guard (5) to the
desired height.
3. Fasten the two knobs of safety guard (21)
at same time and make sure the height of
both sides of the safety guard is same.
Changing the bit
1. Fold the safety guard (5) up.
2. Release the retaining jaws of the drill chuck
(4) with the drill chuck key (27)
3. Remove the bit
4. Insert a new bit.
5. Tighten the retaining jaws of the drill chuck
(4) with drill chuck key (27).
6. Put the drill chuck key (27) away.
7. Check the bit is centred.
8. Fold the safety guard (5) down again.
Clamping the workpiece
●
Only work with the workpiece that can be
securely clamped. The workpiece must not
yield too much. Otherwise it is not possible
to apply adequate tension.
●
The workpiece must not be too small or too
large either.
●
Place the workpiece on the chuck jaws (24)
of the vice (23).
●
Use the handle on the vice (25) to clamp
the workpiece on the vice securely.
●
Overhanging workpieces may have to be
supported laterally by additional supports.
Switching on and off
WARNING! Fold the Safety guard down
before you switch on the bench drill.
Switching on:
Press the on switch (2).
Switching off:
Press the off switch (1).
Restarting protection
●
The restarting protection prevents
uncontrolled starting of the machine after
a power failure (e.g., when the mains plug is
pulled during operation).
●
To restart the operation of the machine
afterwards, press the off switch (1) at first,
then press on switch (2) to restart .
Drilling
●
Place and clamp the workpiece on the vice
(23) securely and firmly.
●
Adjust the desired drilling depth.
●
Set up the desired drilling speed
●
Switch the bench drill on;
●
Turn hand-wheel with 3 drill control levers
(10) anticlockwise, the drill chuck (4) is
lower and close to the workpiece.
●
Drill into the workpiece at the appropriate
feed rate and to the desired depth.
●
Be aware of any necessary chip breaking on
the way to the desired depth.
