General safety warnings for the jump
starter
Please comply with the following
essential safety instructions to
protect yourself from electric shock,
injury and fire when using the jump
starter. Read the safety instructions
and make sure that they have been
fully understood before using the
jump starter. Keep the safety
instructions for future reference.
− Read and follow the instructions
of the manufacturer of the vehicle
battery and of the manufacturer
of any other equipment you plan
to use near the vehicle battery.
Follow all instructions and
warnings on these products and
on the motor.
− The appliance is only to be used
with the power supply unit
provided with the appliance
(GQ12-150050-AG).
− It must only be supplied at safety
extra low voltage corresponding
to the marking on the appliance.
− For the purposes of recharging
the battery, only use the
detachable supply unit provided
with this appliance.
− This appliance contains batteries
that are only replaceable by
skilled persons.
− The appliance can charge for
lithium-ion batteries within the
capacity of 11.1V, 3000mAh.
− The battery is to be disposed of
safely.
− This appliance contains batteries
that are non-replaceable.
− Do not smoke near lithium-ion
batteries and avoid sparks or
flames.
− Only use the supplied external AC
adapter plug to charge the jump
starter’s built-in rechargeable
battery.
− Always make sure there is
adequate ventilation when
recharging lithium-ion batteries.
Gases may be produced.
− Do not use the jump starter for
purposes other than intended!
The jump starter is exclusively
intended for starting cars whose
lithium-ion batteries are not
frozen. Using it for purposes
other than intended may result in
fire or a fatal electric shock.
− Always attach the black negative
battery clamp to the motor, to the
chassis (frame) or to another
earthed part of the car, away from
the petrol line and vehicle battery.
Do not attach the black negative
battery clamp to the negative
pole of the vehicle battery
because gases generated in the
built-in rechargeable battery
could explode. This does not apply
to cars with a positive earth.
Please note that only one half of
each clamp is equipped with
metal teeth.
