7. Storage and Transportation
Storage.
Before storing the device, observe the following:
• Switch off the device by setting the switch
for clockwise /counter-clockwise rotation
to center position (lock).
• Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the
power cable of the charger out the mains
socket.
• Allow the device to cool down.
• Remove the battery form the device.
• Remove the tool from the tool holder.
• Clean the devices as described in the
maintenance part.
• For storing the device, use the transport
case included in the scope of the delivery
in order to protect the device from external
influences.
• Do not store the Li-ion battery which is
completely discharged. Storing discharged
battery can lead to a deep discharge and
thus damage the battery.
Transport
For transport the device, use the transport case
included in the scope of the delivery in order to
protect the device from external influences.
• Switch off the device by setting the switch
for clockwise /counter-clockwise rotation
to center position (lock).
• Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the
power cable of the charger out the mains
socket.
• Allow the device to cool down.
• Remove the battery form the device.
• Remove the tool from the tool holder
• Protect the product from any heavy impact
or strong vibrations which may occur during
transportation in vehicles.
