CLEANING
Attention:
Never place the appliance body, plug or power cord in water or other liquids; always wipe clean
with a damp cloth.
Attention:
Maintenance must only be carried out when the appliance is switched off, disconnected from the
power supply and with the thickness adjustment lever (A) set to ‘0’.
•
A soft cloth, slightly dampened with water, is sufficient to clean all appliance parts.
•
Never use abrasives, detergents or solvents of any kind. Never immerse the appliance into water.
•
The removable parts of the slicer are not dishwasher safe since the high temperature could cause
the deformation of plastic. Dry any parts thoroughly before storage.
•
It is good practice to clean the appliance after every use so that any debris or parts of sliced foods
do not dry out, sticking the components.
•
If the appliance is not used for long time, protect it against dust or other dirt, eventually using an
apposite cover.
Removal of the blade
Attention:
The blade is very sharp and dangerous. Use with care!

power supply and with the thickness adjustment lever (A) set to ‘0’.

To clean the appliance thoroughly, it is possible the blade. Rotate the blade locking device (F)
situated in the middle of the blade (Fig. 3).
•
Replace the blade in its correct original position after cleaning. Screw the locking device correctly.
Attention:
After having removed the blade, make sure no water get into the appliance.
