4.7.4 Notification
This page allows you to configure email notifications for the security log of the
router. You can configure a schedule to enable the router to send an email
message to a specified user. This feature is useful if you want to acquire the
security log remotely.

Email Notification Status:
Choose to Enable or Disable email notification
status.

Send Notification:
Select from the drop-down list when the router should
send out the notification. Options available are
Daily
,
Weekly
,
Monthly
, or
when log is full
.

Mail Server:
Enter the SMTP IP address of the mail server.

Port:
Enter the port number, the default is
25
.
h
Subject:
Enter a description that will be shown in the subject line of the
email message.
h
Sender Email:
Enter en email address that the recipient can reply to.
h
Recipient’s Email:
Enter the email address that will receive this
notification.
h
Server Authentication:
Place a check in this box if the mail server
required authentication. Then enter the user name and password in the
fields below.

Click on the
Send Test Mail
to send out a test message using the
configuration provided.
