To ensure reliable service, your power inverter must be installed and used properly. Please read the installation and operating
instructions thoroughly prior to installation and use. Pay particular attention to the
warning
and
caution
statements in this manual.

statements advise against certain conditions and practices that may result in damage to your inverter. The
warning
statements identify conditions or practices that may result in personal injury.
Please read all instructions before using this power inverter!
Connecting the inverter
We strongly recommend to use a 12 V Deep Cycle battery with at least 100 AH.
Screw tightly the red cable to the positive (+) DC terminal on the power inverter and then connect the ring end to
the positive (+) DC terminal of the 12 V battery.
Screw tightly the black cable to the negative (-) DC terminal on the power inverter and then connect the ring end
to the negative (-) DC terminal of the 12 V battery.
Please make sure both cables are securely connected to the battery terminals, as a loose connection will cause
the voltage to drop and may cause the cables to overheat, resulting in equipment damage or fire.
Switch the power inverter “ON”. You can now connect your appliance in the inverter’s outlet.
IMPORTANT:
When the power inverter is not in use, unplug it from the 12 V outlet to prevent slight discharge of the battery.
RISK OF DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT:
OUTPUT IS NON-SINUSOIDAL
Do not insert foreign objects in the EW-800USB inverter’s outlets or openings.
Using this inverter for appliance requiring precise power supply such as measuring tools is not recommended.
Never connect the inverter to power utility AC distribution wiring.
Make sure the inverter is in a ventilated room. Never block or cover the fan or air exhaust.
Do not use the EW-800USB inverter in temperatures over 40° C (100° F).
Do not expose the EW-800USB inverter to water, rain, snow, or spray.
Do not connect live AC power to the EW-800USB’s AC outlets. The inverter will be damaged even if it is switched OFF.
Do not use the EW-800USB with high capacitive electric appliances exceeding the inverter’ rated power such as air
conditioning units, refrigerators, microwave ovens, blenders, or similar.
Using the inverter with extension power cable is not recommended as it will cause power drop. If you have to you
extension power cable, we suggest using high quality cable to reduce power drop effect.
Only USB compatible devices should be use with the USB port. Make sure the voltage of your device is compatible
with the maximum charging voltage of the inverter’s USB port.
OTHER MATTERS:
This is a modified sine wave inverter; When measuring the voltage, please use precise equipment (RMS).
Interference while using audio system or television may happen.
If the inverter is connected to a car battery, never use the inverter while engine is stopped.
Please do not open the inverter. If mending is needed, ask a professionnal to mend it.
Failure to follow these instructions can damage the unit and/or damage other equipment.
