Troubleshooting

If an appliance doesn’t power up, or the 

power indicator doesn’t light, there are several 

possible causes:

•  Defective device plugged into the 

inverter.

 

Try another device to see if the first one 

is defective.

•  Vehicle battery voltage is lower than 

10V. 

 

Run the vehicle’s engine to recharge the 

battery.

•  Temperature exceeds 158°F (70°C). 

 

Unplug the appliance and wait until the 

inverter cools. See “

Heat Dispersion

” on 

page 7. Your device’s power requirement 

might exceed the inverter’s rating.

•  Continuous power load exceeds 150 

watts. 

 

Disconnect the device. Use only devices 

with a continuous power load of 150 

watts or less.

•  Blown fuse.
