Maintenance
8.1
Maintenance work
No special maintenance work is required.
8.1.1
Exterior cleaning
When cleaning the exterior of measuring devices, always use cleaning agents that do not
attack the surface of the housing or the seals.
8.1.2
Periodic inspections
While the NAR300 float sensor is not easily affected by deposits or adhered material,
conduct overall periodic inspections of the cable and wiring, etc., semi-annually along with
an operation check as follows.
• A clogged sensor or debris, foreign substances, moss, etc. in the pit may cause faulty
operation. Inspect and clean periodically. Cleaning sensor using a soft, damp cloth.
• Periodically remove debris, sand, or snow that has accumulated on the float sensor.
These substances may lower the draft line, which hampers sensitivity.
• Confirm that NAR300 functions normally after inspecting cable and wiring for damage.
