Clean the sensor:

• Before returning it for repair

Immerse the sensor in drinking water.
2.
Then rinse it with copious amounts of water.
Dirt particles on the sensor shaft and shaft
sleeve (
not membrane!
)

Clean sensor shaft and sleeve with water and a suitable
sponge.
Dirt particles on the membrane or membrane
body
‣
Clean the membrane carefully with water and a soft cloth
‣
After cleaning:
Rinse with copious amounts of clean water.
Use a fully automated cleaning system for regular automated cleaning.

Cleaning the cathode
The cathode only needs to be cleaned if it is coated or silver-plated.

CAUTION
The standard electrolyte is a strong irritant
Danger of severe skin and eye irritation!
‣
Be absolutely certain to observe the corresponding workplace safety regulations.
‣
Wear protective gloves and goggles when handling the electrolyte.
‣
In case of eye contact: Remove contact lenses, rinse eyes with water for a few minutes
and contact a doctor.
‣
In case of skin contact: Take off wet clothing immediately, wash the skin or take a
shower.
