6.1
Installation and function check
Make sure that the post-installation check and final check have been completed before you start
your measuring point:
• For the "Post-installation" checklist, refer to Page 41.
• For the "Post-connection" checklist, refer to Page 52.

Commissioning the electronic inserts
FEI51, FEI52, FEI54, FEI55
This chapter describes the process for commissioning the device with electronic insert versions
FEI51, FEI52, FEI54, FEI55.

Note!
• When you start up the device for the first time, the output is in safe status.
This is signaled by the flashing yellow LED 6.
• The device is not operational until you have carried out a calibration.
To attain maximum operational safety, carry out an empty and a full calibration. This is
particularly recommended for critical applications.
Refer to the following subchapters for information on how to carry out the calibration.
