4.4 Installation of datalogger
The ESDL-30 datalogger can be mounted near the seepage sensor i.e. near moisture trap. In this case,
the sensor cable can be terminated directly to the datalogger, instead of junction box.
The datalogger can also be installed in the monitoring room. Depending on the distance from seepage
sensor location to datalogger location, a 3 core or 6 core cable will be used from junction box to datalogger.
The mounting detail for installing datalogger on a vertical surface or wall is shown in figure 4-4. Mark the
position of fasteners. Drill 6 mm dia x 40 mm deep hole. Fix the datalogger using Hilti HPS-1 6/15x40
fasteners provided.
