Use the charger of the BTGPS III
BTGPS III can operate when using the power supply from 5V cigarette-lighter in the
vehicle by plugging the DC charger into the jack of the BTGPS III.
This will not charge the batteries when using rechargeable batteries.
You need to plug the charger’s plug into the power jack which indicated as “E” in
Figure 2. Make sure using the charger supplied with the BTGPS III
