1. Choose fireplace location.
2. Frame in fireplace opening with a plate across the top. It is
important to allow for the finished fireplace face when setting
the depth of the frame.

3. Bend the nailing flanges 90 degrees.

4. Attach fireplace to frame using adjustable nailing flanges.
Set the nailing flange depth to suit the wall material
(adjustable to 1/2 or 5/8 inch).

5. Secure the nailing flanges to the fireplace with #10 x ½ inch
screws (provided).
6. Secure the nailing flanges to the framing with nails or other
suitable fasteners (not provided).
