VENTING FIREPLACE - TOP (continued)
Installation of Flue Heat Shield
1. Remove flue insulation.
2. Remove (2) screws on outside of inlet vent adapter.
See Figure 21.
3. Lift top shield placing flue heat shield around flue.
4. Replace (2) screws on outside of inlet vent adapter.
See Figure 22.
5. Bend tab at top front of flue heat shield if necessary to maintain
air gap between flue pipe and flue heat shield.
6. Replace flue insulation.
