VENTING FIREPLACE - TOP (continued)

Installation of Flue Heat Shield

1. Remove flue insulation.

2. Remove two screws on outside of inlet vent adapter.

See Figure 24.

3. Lift top shield placing flue heat shield around flue.

4. Replace two screws on outside of inlet vent adapter.

See Figure 25.

5. Bend tab at top front of flue heat shield if necessary to maintain

air gap between flue pipe and flue heat shield.

6. Replace flue insulation.
