These instructions are intended as a general guide
and do not supersede national or local codes in
any way. Authorities having jurisdiction should be
consulted before installation.
• Follow all local codes regarding installation,
combustion and ventilation air or in the absence
of local codes follow the National Fuel Gas Code
ANSI Z223.1(U.S. installation), or CAN/CGA-B149,
Installation Code (Canada installation).
• Installation and provision for combustion and
ventilation air must conform to the
National Fuel
Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1,
or C
AN/CGA-B149.1,
Natural Gas Installation Code

CAN/CGA-B149.2,
Propane Installation Code.
• The installation of appliances designed for
manufactured home (U.S. only) or mobile home
