„Lo“
– Batteries low, replace.
„EEEEE“
– scales overloaded, maximum load capacity is 15 kg. Remove the weighed material from the
scales to avoid damaging them.

Weighing
1. Place the scales on a flat, hard and stable surface.
2. Before turning the scales on, place a kitchen bowl (not included) onto the weighing area if you
intend to use it.
3. Turn on weighing mode by touching the ON-ZERO button.
4. Set the desired weight unit (g/kg/oz/lb oz/fl oz) by repeatedly pressing the SET-UNIT button.
5. Place the object you want to weigh on the scales or into the bowl. The LCD display will show the
object‘s weight.
6. You can turn off the scales by long pressing the ON-ZERO button; alternatively, the scales will turn
off on their own after 45 seconds.
Note: The display always shows time when in standby mode.
The display cannot be turned off completely.
TARE Function (Incremental Weighing)
The TARE function is used to weigh doses which are gradually added to the objects already placed
on the scales.
1. Place the first dose on the scales and the display will show its weight.
2. Before adding another dose, press the ON-ZERO button. The value on the display will reset.
Now you can add another dose. You can do this repeatedly.
