Sensor Installation Variants
(See Fig. 3)
Warning
Only use 1.5 V alkaline batteries of the same type; do not use rechargeable 1.2 V batteries.
Lower voltage may cause both of the units to not function.
Getting Started
1. First, insert batteries into the weather station (2× 1.5 V AAA), then into the wireless sensor (2× 1.5 V
AAA). When inserting the batteries make sure the polarity is correct to avoid damaging the weather
station or sensor.
2. Place the two units next to each other. The weather station will detect the remote sensor signal
within 3 minutes. If signal from the sensor is not detected, repeat the process from step 1.
3. If the outdoor temperature value disappears from the display, repeat the process from step 1.
4. We recommend placing the sensor on the north side of the house. The range of the sensor may
decrease substantially in areas with large number of obstacles. The sensor is resistant to dripping
water; however, it should not be exposed to sustained rain. Do not place the sensor on metal objects
as these would reduce transmission range.
You can place the sensor vertically onto the stand or mount the stand onto a wall and click the sensor
in place onto it, see Fig. 3.
If the weather station display shows the low battery icon
in the outdoor humidity field, replace
the batteries in the sensor.
If the weather station display shows the low battery icon
in the indoor humidity field, replace the
batteries in the station.
Note: It may take up to 30 minutes since the insertion of batteries into the units before the station begins
showing the correct measured data and loads DCF time.
Changing Sensor Channel and Connecting Additional Sensors
The station can be paired with up to 3 wireless sensors.
1. Choose the desired channel – 1, 2, or 3 – for the sensor by repeatedly pressing the
button.
2. The number will be displayed in field no. 4 in the top left in the icon.
3. Then, long press the
button; the icon will start flashing.
4. Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the sensor and insert batteries (2× 1.5 V AAA).
