PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
Use the Programmed Playback feature to play up to
20
tracks on a disc in any
desired order. You may also program a particular track to play several times within
a programmed sequence if desired.
Note
: You cannot program a disc while it is playing. Press the
STOP
button
to stop playback and then follow the programming steps below.
1.) Load your disc as usual and wait until the display
shows the total number of tracks on the disc.
2.) Press the
PROGRAM
button on the front panel.

indicator flashes and Track number

î begins flashing in the display.
3.) Press the
SKIP FWD.
or
SKIP REV.
buttons to select the first track
number to be programmed.

When the desired track number appears in the display press the
PROGRAM
button again.
Track 7 is now entered in Program Memory
number ì01î. The Track number display returns
to the flashing ì
0
î.
4.) Repeat step 3, selecting a different track number
each time until you have entered up to
20
tracks
in the program memory.
To confirm the program after you have entered the last track press the
PROGRAM
button repeatedly. The display will scroll through all the tracks you
programmed in sequence.

5.) When you have completed programming the desired tracks press the
PLAY/
PAUSE
button to begin programmed playback.
The
PLAY/PAUSE
indicator comes ëOní and the
PROG.
indicator continues flashing.
Playback will begin on the first track you programmed and will continue until
the last programmed track has played.
6.) When the program is completed the player stops and the display again briefly
shows the total tracks on the disc and then returns to the correct time. However
the program sequence remains in the memory.
To repeat the program sequence press the
PROGRAM
button and then press
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button again.
To cancel the Programmed sequence from memory, press the
PROGRAM
button and then press the
STOP
button while the player is stopped. The
Program indicator goes ëOffí.
Programmed Playback may also be canceled by switching to Radio function,
opening the CD door, or pressing the
POWER ON/OFF
button to shut the
power ëOffí.
PROGRAMMED REPEAT PLAYBACK
You may use the Programmed Playback and Repeat features together to
continuously repeat a programmed sequence.
First program the desired sequence according to steps 1 through 4 above.
When Programmed Playback begins press the
REPEAT
button twice to select the
Repeat All Tracks mode.
The
REPEAT
and
PLAY/PAUSE
indicators
remain ëOní. The
PROG.
indicator flashes.
The programmed sequence will be repeated continuously.
