Remove the three switch housing plate screws and retain
for future use. (Figure 29).

Engage the color-coded connector of the light kit assembly
with the motor connector (Figure 28).
The two connectors are keyed and color-coded and must
be mated correctly (color-to-color) before they can be
engaged.
Make sure the connector latch closes properly.

Align the light kit assembly holes with the switch housing
plate holes.
Carefully tuck all the wires and connectors into the switch
cup housing.
Secure the light kit assembly by reinstalling the three
previous removed screws (Figure 30).
To avoid possible fire or shock, do not pinch wires
between the light kit assembly and the switch cup plate.
