Base Interface Extension
The ATCA-F120 provides an additional switch device: the Broadcom BCM5385. It is connected
to the previously described BCM56502 devices and is used to provide additional Ethernet
interfaces.

Port Assignment
The following table shows how the Ethernet ports of the BCM5385 device are assigned.
4.9.2
Shelf Manager Cross Connection
The ATCA-F120 provides two different options for the interconnection of the shelf managers
(ShM) in a system. The selection between these two options is done via an on-board
configuration switch and via an OEM IPMI command, where the OEM IPMI command overrides
the on-board switch if both settings are different. Refer to section
