Update Catalogue

 button, and step through the installation process. When complete, the Ampgard RVSS DTM will be 

available for connection once the Modbus Serial device is connected to the network.

To set up the Modbus Serial portion of the network, drag the Modbus Serial device from the Device Catalogue tab table to the 

Network icon, on the left (see 

Figure 82

), or click the 

 next to the device. It will connect to the Network.

Once the device is in place, the Modbus Serial - Modal Configuration window will pop up (see 

Figure 83

), so that inControl in the PC can be 

set up for serial communication with the BCM. With the communications cable installed on the PC side, you will need to know what port the 

PC has assigned to the link, and configure it with the settings inControl will require (see 

Table 14

).
