Step 1: Connecting the Display
Direct Connect to the Site Supervisor
1. Connect a network cable to either of the two
ETH1
ports on the Site Supervisor. Connect the other end of the network
cable to port
ETH0
on the Display.
2. The Display is pre-configured with the default IP Address
192.168.1.200
. This is compatible with the Site Supervisor
default IP Address and will enable the Display to directly connect to the Site Supervisor unit. See
Step 2 on page 3
to
confirm the Display’s network configuration or make changes.
Connect to Network Jack or Switch
1. Connect a network cable to a network jack or switch. On the Display, connect the other end of the network cable to port
ETH0
.
Be sure to make note of which Display ETH port you connected to for later reference when setting up the Display network
configuration.
If connecting directly to a network jack or switch, you must enable DHCP or set up a Static IP Address on the
Display (
Step 2
below
).
Step 2: Setting Up the Display Network Configuration
Access Display Network Configuration
1. Power up the Display with 24VDC power supply (not included).
2. Wait for the browser login screen to appear. Login with username/password:

. The Chrome settings page
will appear.
(Note that a username/password of
user/user
is for view only.)
Tap
Proceed
on the login screen
or
Enter
on the
display keyboard to continue.
3. Tap
Panel Settings
. The
System Settings
menu will appear.
4. Tap
Network
and then tap
Network Interfaces
.
5. Tap
Edit
(top right).
6. Locate the name of the port the network cable is connected to on the Display (the
Name
column).
DHCP
(Note that DHCP is enabled in blue by default for the Display’s ports ETH1 and ETH2)
1. For the two ports the display cable is NOT connected to, tap the DHCP button under the DHCP column to disable DHCP.
The button should be white when disabled.
2. For the port the display
IS
connected to, ensure the DHCP button is enabled blue. If the button is white, tap it once to
enable and the button will turn blue.
Static IP
• For the Display ETH port you are connected to, DHCP must be disabled to enter a static IP Address, Netmask, and
Gateway. The Gateway is not mandatory.
