Maintenance Precautions
WARNING
If your Lectra falls over or is involved in a collision, inspect control levers,
cables, brake hoses, calipers, accessories, and other vital parts for damage. Do
not ride your motorbike if damage impairs safe operation. Have your authorized
EMB Lectra dealer inspect the major components, including frame, suspension,
and steering parts for misalignment and damage that you may not be able to
detect.
Turn off the ignition and support your Lectra on a firm, level surface before per-
forming any maintenance.
Use new, genuine EMB parts or their equivalent for maintenance and repair.
Parts which are not of equivalent quality may impair the safety of your motorcy-
cle.
