• Ensure that clothing is close-fitting but comfortable.
• Do not allow children to use the machine.
• Never allow the machine to be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities,
or without experience or the necessary knowledge or by people who are not familiar with the
instructions.
• Do not allow other people to remain within a radius of 15 meters while using the machine.
• Before using the machine check that the disc fixing bolt is well tightened (Fig. 7.A).
DANGER
The machine must be equipped with the cutting tools recommended by the Manufacturer
(see par. 15.2). The use of unauthorised tools can lead to serious or fatal injuries.
• Do not use the machine without the disc or head guard (Fig. 4.A).
• Before starting the engine, make sure that the disc is free to rotate and is not in contact with
foreign bodies.
• While working, check the disc frequently by stopping the engine. Replace the disc as soon as any
cracks appear.
• Use the machine only in well-ventilated areas, do not use in explosive, flammable atmosphere or
indoors.
• With the engine running, do not carry out any maintenance and do not touch the disc.
• IT IS strictly prohibited to apply any device other than that supplied by the Manufacturer to the
power take-off of the machine.
• Do not use the machine if it is damaged, has been poorly repaired, incorrectly fitted or arbitrarily
modified.
• Do not remove, damage or make any safety device ineffective.
• Keep all labels with warning and safety signs in perfect condition. If damaged or deteriorated, they
must be replaced promptly (Fig. 22).
• Do not use the machine for anything other than the intended use (see par. 2.1).
• Do not leave the machine with the engine running.
• Do not start the engine with the arm fitted.
• Check the machine daily to make sure that all safety and non-safety devices are in good working order.
• Do not carry out operations or repairs that are not part of normal maintenance. For any other
intervention, contact an Authorised Service Centre.
• If the machine needs to be taken out of service, do not dispose of it in the environment, but deliver
it to the Dealer who will arrange for it to be disposed of correctly.
• The manual is an integral part of the machine, and must always accompany the machine in the
event of a change of ownership, even if temporary.
• Always contact your Dealer for any other clarification or priority intervention.
• Keep this Manual carefully and refer to it each time the machine is to be used.
• Remember that the owner or operator is responsible for accidents or risks suffered by third parties
or their property.
DANGER
• Never use the machine if the safety functions are faulty. The safety functions of the machine
must be checked and maintained according to the instructions provided in par 10.1 and
chap. 12. If the machine does not pass these checks, contact an Authorised Service Centre to
have it repaired.
• Any use of the machine not expressly indicated in the manual must be considered improper
use and as such a source of risks for people and things for which the Manufacturer declines
all responsibility.
