2. Operating Instruction
The light curing equipments are suitable for the hardening of UV gels on artificial and nature finger nails. Before starting
operation the included tubes type Emmi-light 9SU must be inserted. For this the removable bottom is to be removed (not
applicable for Emmi-nail Classic). Inserted tubes are to be tested and bottom is to be fixed again (not applicable for Emmi-
Nail Classic). Before connecting the power supply make sure that the voltage supply indicated on the type plate is identical
with the voltage shown of the main source (230V~ / 50 Hz in Germany). With the switch ON / OFF (1) the equipment is
switched on. For equipments with various time adjustment wished time is to be adjusted. One hand with prepared nails is to
be laid into the equipment. For start of operation press start key (if necessary). The equipment automatically stops working
after termination of adjusted time (not applicable in case of permanent operation). After equipment has stopped working
remove hand from equipment. Before you clean or sterilize the equipment the power supply must be disconnected. In order
to simplify and improve the cleaning of the equipment the bottom shall be removed (not applicable for Emmi-Nail Classic).
The equipment must only be operated with 9 Watt UVA tubes. We recommend to use Emmi-light 9SU tubes for a better and
quicker curing of your gels. In order to achieve a homogeneous and quick curing of your gels we strongly recommend to
change the UVA tubes every 6 months or after 600 hours of operation.

4. Conventional Use
The equipment may only be used for the purpose as set forth in the catalogue and in the technical descriptions which means
for light curing of nails, and only in conjunction with external devices and components which are recommended or ap-
proved by EMAG AG. Any other use of the equipment is considered to be non conventional. In case of non conventional use
EMAG AG will not be liable for possible damages and will not warrant for the correct and functional work of the components.
Part of the conventional use is also the observance of all information given in the operating manual. The correct and safe
operation of the equipment implies appropriate transportation, storage, installation and assembly as well as careful handling
and maintenance.
5. Non Conventional Use
In case of non conventional use of the equipment danger for life and limb as well as danger for property may occur. There-
fore a non conventional use is prohibited. In case of non conventional use EMAG AG will not be liable for possible damages
and will not warrant for the correct and functionally work of the components.
In order to avoid non conventional use of the light curing equipment the following directions are to be considered:
• The light curing equipment may only be operated with the voltage printed on the type plate on the backside /
bottom side of the housing (shockproof socket).
• No flammable or aggressive chemicals (i.e. acids etc.) must be used for cleaning of the equipment.
• During cleaning process the power supply must be disconnected.
• The equipment must only be operated indoor.
• In case of transportation damage , don `t connect the equipment with main source.
