Always ensure that the ceramic hob is correctly ventilated
and that neither the air inlet nor the air outlet are blocked.
Make sure the ceramic hob is in good condition. See below.
Note! The safe distance between hob and the cabi-
nets above it must be at least 760 mm.
WARNING!
Check that there is sufficient ventilation
Ensure that the ceramic hob is correctly ventilated and that
neither the air inlet nor the air outlet are blocked. To avoid
accidental contact with the hot underside of the hob (or an
electric shock when working) a wood insert must be installed
(and fixed with screws) at least 50 mm below the underside
of the hob. Follow the instructions below.
There are ventilation holes around the outside of the hob. Make sure that these holes are NOT blocked by the worktop
when you insert the hob in it.
The adhesive that is used to join plastic or wood in kitchen cabinets must be able to withstand temperatures up to
150˚C (unsuitable adhesive could cause the material to come loose).
The wall behind the hob and any adjacent or surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand temperatures up to 90˚C.
Before fitting the clips
Place the appliance on a firm, flat surface (use the carton). Take
care to avoid damaging the controls that project from the hob.
Screw the four clips to the underside of the hob (see diagram) and
fix the hob to the work surface once it is in the correct position.
