Refrigerant
The appliance’s refrigerant circuit contains isobutene gas (R600a). This is a
natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, but is neverthe-
less flammable. Ensure that none of the refrigerant circuit’s components are
damaged during transportation and installation of the appliance. The
refrigerant (R600a) is flammable.
• WARNING – Refrigerators contain refrigerant gas and the insulation also
contains gases. Refrigerant and gases must be disposed of professionally
as they may cause eye injuries or ignite. Ensure that the refrigerant circuit’s
tubing is not damaged prior to proper disposal.
If the refrigerant circuit is damaged:
- Avoid naked flames and sources of ignition.
- Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.
It is dangerous to alter the specifications of this product or modify it in any
way.
Any damage to the power cord may cause a short circuit, fire, and/or
electric shock.
Electrical safety
1. The power cord must not be extended.
2. Make sure that the power plug is not crushed or damaged. A crushed or
damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.
3. Make sure that you can access the appliance’s power plug.
4. Do not pull the power cord.
5. Do not insert the power plug if it is loose. Otherwise there is a risk of
electric shock or fire.
6. The appliance must not be operated without the cover over the interior
lighting.
7. The appliance must only be connected to a single-phase alternating current
supply of 220 ~ 240 V / 50 Hz. If the voltage of the local supply fluctuates
outside the above range, it will be necessary to install an AC voltage
Replacing the interior lights
• WARNING — The interior lights must not be replaced by the user! If the
interior lights are damaged, contact the customer helpline for assistance.
This warning only applies to refrigerators that have interior lighting.
