5.2.5 Connect outputs of the EK205
The line diameter for connection of the inputs of the EK205 is
0.8 … 1.0 mm (AWG 20 – 18).
Various instruments can be connected to the digital output of the EK205 To this
end, the outputs are preset (see chapter 5.3.1.10)

Connect the downstream device to the corresponding digital
outputs (terminals DA1 and DA2) of the EK205 (see Ill.: 12).

For lead-sealing the output terminal, a corresponding terminal
cover is provided in the accessories bag. Where required, screw
them via the terminals and then glue a lead seal to the fastening
screw (see chapter 5.3.2).

Where required, for the pulse outputs set the cp value (pulse
constant) as described in chapter 5.3.1.10.
5.3 Commissioning
5.3.1 Setting the operating parameters
The setting of the operating parameters required can be carried out using the free enSuite
software, available at www.elster-instromet.com.
If the program is not available, the settings can be alternatively made using the device
keyboard.
Before setting the operating parameters using the keyboard, read chapter 6 to
familiarize yourself with the operation of the device.
