1. Register an account and connect the K2 to the app
Your smartphone must be connected to the same network (
2.4GHz
)
you want to connect the K2 to. Download the ELRO Connects 2.0 app
on your smartphone and create an account via "
Sign up>
":
•
Enter your "e-mail address" and request a verification code.
•
Through the mail you will receive the "Verification code" via
[email protected] type this code, the code will
remain active for 20 minutes.
•
Create a password.
•
Accept "Privacy policy" and "Service agreement".
•
Press next, your account is registered.
1.1 Connect the K2 to your Wi-Fi network
•
You can add the K2 by pressing "Add devices" or the plus sign at the top right of the app.
•
Plug the K2 into an outlet within range of your Wi-Fi network.
•
The K2 will automatically enter connection mode. This can be recognised by the blue flashing
LED. If not, press the button on the top of the K2 for 5 seconds until the blue LED flashes.
•
Now click "NEXT", your network will be automatically found and displayed, enter your
network's password and click "NEXT".
•
The K2 will send a voice message when the connection is successful.
•
You can now change the K2's name (Gateway0073, see below) and location to the room
where you placed it. If your room is missing from the list you can create one yourself.
