3.3 Connect the composite video source to be converted to the BNC identified as CV IN
with coax cable RG59B/U
For excellent conversion results, the input should be integral and immune to losses.
Therefore, if the source is close enough to the CONVI104 (max. 20 mt), there is no need
to compensate losses due to the cable that carries the signal. If the source is at more
than 20 mt, it is advisable to offset losses using a DA104 or DA204 type equalizing
distributor that can be fitted in the same DVR-MV/RK rack. The DA104 or DA204 must be
inserted immediately before the input of the CONVI104.
3.4 If the optional FRAME SYNCHRONIZER board is installed and a synchronized output
is required, connect the reference signal to the REF. LOOP BNC. The reference signal
may be a Black Burst or a standard composite signal.

If it is not used, terminate the free REF. LOOP BNC with a 75
Ω
termination
