Making Calls
Initiating a Call (Dialing)
An outgoing call can be initiated a number of ways:
•
Enter the telephone number using the keypad and
then press the handset key.
•
Press the handset key and then enter the telepho-
ne number.
Accepting Calls
A call is signaled optically (in display) and acoustically
(see Profile Settings). Press the handset key to accept
the call.
The telephone handset symbol is shown in the display
during a call, or while a call is being set up. To terminate
a call, press the handset key again.
Setting up Profiles
You can configure two profiles for using the handset (e.g.
key click, display illumination) and for signaling calls (call
signal tone, volume).
For example:
Profile »Indoors (1)« quiet surroundings:
Vibrator off, calling signal volume quiet, etc.
Profile »Outdoors (2)« for noisy surroundings:
Vibrator on, calling signal volume loud, etc.

Select the individual menu items for a profile using the ar-
row keys. To change a setting, confirm the selection of
the corresponding menu by pressing the OK key. Press
the menu key if you wish to exit the menu.
