You can set the volume for a call using the two keys on
the right side of the handset. The volume is increa-
sed/decreased in increments each time you press one of
these two keys.
Activating / De-activating the hand-
set
To switch off the handset, press and hold down the OK
key for more than 3 seconds. The handset is then com-
pletely switched off (power save mode) and can not be
reached by the system. Calls are no longer signaled.
To reactivate the handset, press and hold down the
handset key longer than one 1/2 second.
Connection with a base station
If your handset is logged on at a base station, the symbol
is shown in the display, indicating that the handset is
within the range of the base station.
Note: If the handset is out of the range of the base stati-
on, this symbol will go out. When you return to within the
range of the base station it may take as long as 30 se-
conds before this symbol re-appears in the display.
