Siren Audible Performance
The siren produces a minimum of 104dBA sound pressure at 1 meter on axis. It is programmable
via two jumpers (SW3 and SW4) for four different siren durations:
1) 3
min
2) 5
min
3) 10
min
4) 1
second
o
The fourth position (1 second) is used for testing during installation.
o
The siren is silenced when either the programmed siren duration expires or the Control
panel turns off the siren.
o
In case of low battery condition, Bell box gives an intermittent alarm sound instead of
continuous alarm sound during the programmed siren duration.
o
For Burglar / Panic Alarm, Bell box gives a continuous alarm sound.
o
For Fire alarm, Bell box gives an intermittent alarm sound of 3 short beeps followed by a
stop for 1.5 sec cyclically during the programmed alarm duration.
o
For Water alarm, Bell box gives an intermittent alarm sound of a 50% duty cycle at 0.5
sec cyclically during the programmed alarm duration.

Strobe Light
The strobe light will flash to indicate various system statuses and can be programmed by SW2
as shown in switch position table. It will be turned off either when the programmed siren duration
has expired or the panel resets the system.

Tamper Alarm
If the siren detects a tamper condition it will activate the siren for the programmed alarm period. If
the tamper condition persists, the siren will sound a series of five pips either every time the
system is armed or when the tamper is enabled, to indicate a fault. Tamper feature can be
enabled/disabled from the control unit by selecting “
/-
“ menu, then “
Program Siren
”
menu, and then, choose “
Siren Tamp ON
” or “
Siren Tamp OFF
” and press OK.

Confirm Programming
The siren can be programmed to produce additional confirmation beeps to tell you when the
systems is armed and disarmed from outside the premises. One beep for armed or home
armed, two beeps for disarmed.
The set up can be done from the control panel under “
/-
” menu, then “
Program Siren
”
menu and select “
Confirm On
” or “
Confirm Off
”.

Disable the Siren Confirmation by selecting “
Confirmation Off
” and press “
OK
”.
o
Enable the Siren Confirmation by selecting “
Confirmation On
” and press “
OK
”.

Entry Sound On, Entry Sound Off
The Bell box can be enabled or disabled to emit the Entry Delay warning beeps. The set up can
be done from the control panel under “
Program Siren
” menu.
o
Disable the Siren Entry Sound by selecting “
Entry Snd Off
” and press “
OK
”.
o
Enable the Siren Entry Sound by selecting “
Entry Snd On
” and press “
OK
”.

Previous Alarm Warning
If there has been an alarm while you were away, the Bell box will sound and flash for 3 seconds
when the system has been disarmed. This only applies to triggering under Away & Home Arm
modes.
WARNING
: As the siren is activated for 3 seconds when you disarm your system, this suggests
that an intruder may or may not still be in your premise.

Audio & Alarm Status Indication

Panic/Burglar
: Continuous siren
o
Fire
: Siren will be on (0.5s) & off (0.5s) for three times, then comes with a break of 1.5 sec.
o
Water
: Siren will be on for 0.5s & off 0.5s continuously.
