FILTER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove front panel of chiller.
Note: For color images please visit www.elkay.com.
2.
Install 3/8" formed copper tube (item 2) to left side of filter head. Screw locknut hand-tight to seal. See Figures 5 and 18.
3.
Mount filter head to chiller using (3) screws (provided). See Figure 6.
4.
Push (1) piece of 3.5" long 1/4" O.D. poly tubing (item 24, provided) into fitting on right side of filter head. See Figure 7.
See Figure 1 for operation of quick connect fittings.
5. Install 1/4" x 1/4" John Guest elbow (provided) to previously installed poly tubing. Install 3/8" x 1/4" John Guest elbow
(provided) to evaporator water inlet labeled "WATER IN". See Figure 8.
6. Connect 1/4" John Guest elbow to 3/8" x 1/4" John Guest elbow using (1) piece of 3.5" long 1/4" O.D. poly tubing (item
24, provided). Install filter cartridge to filter head. See Figure 9.
