1)
Unplug the cord and let unit cool completely before cleaning.
2)
Remove the griddle cooking surface from the base of the unit.
3)
Use a wooden or plastic spatula to scrape off any food residue.
4)
Remove the oil/grease tray, wipe it with a paper towel first and then wash with warm
soapy water. Let dry before reinserting the tray back under the griddle.
5)
Use a wet sponge or damp cloth to clean the exterior of your griddle. Do not plug
the power cord into the wall outlet if the griddle is still wet.
6)
To remove cooked-on food, use a plastic bristle brush or nylon mesh pad.
WARNING:
Never immerse the griddle in water or any liquids. This may cause an electrical shortage
and bodily harm. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or steel wool to clean the
surface! It may damage the coating.
