3.4 Welding
1. Use grounding clamp to connect the work piece. Make sure that the clamp is in good
electrical connection with work pieces. Clean the rust and paint first if any.
2. Clamp the electrode by the electrode holder.
3. Turn on the power switch of welding machine. Put on your face shield.
4. Do the welding. Turning the output regulating tap to get an appropriate welding
current.
5. After welding, turn off the power switch and put the electrode holder away from any
grounded object.
6. Take off the face shield.
Caution!
Don’t overload the welding machine. This may short the lifetime of it.
If the welding machine is overload for too long time, the thermal protection will shut the
welding current automatically and light the overheat indicator. It will reset automatically
when the temperature drop to a certain degree. Normally, this may take 10 to 15
minute. Since the reset of thermal protection is automatic, be sure the welding torch is
away from the work piece when the overheat indicator is on. We strongly recommend
that you turn the power off when the thermal overload is actuated.
