INSTRUCTIONS
• The carafe may only be used in combination with the
coffee maker. For instance, do not place the carafe di-
rectly on a stovetop and never leave the empty carafe
on the unit’s warming plate.
• Never clean the carafe with abrasive cleaners, steel
wool or similar abrasive materials.
• Do not place the hot carafe on cold or hot surfaces.
• Do not use other liquids than water in the coffee
maker.
• Always keep the unit’s lid closed during operation.
• The unit becomes very hot during operation. Only
touch the unit’s handle.
• Hot steam rises from the unit when the water is boi-
ling. Do not touch the steam as this can cause injury.
• Only pour water within the marked areas, to prevent
the water from boiling dry or overflowing.
