Remote control

:

·

The appliance must first be turned on.

·

It might take a few moments for the appliance to respond to the remote control. Wait

at least 2 seconds before pressing the buttons again.

·

Push the ON/OFF button to turn the appliance on or off.

·

Press the 1000 W button for low temperature heat. Press it once more to turn it off.

·

Press the 2000 W button for high temperature heat. Press it once more to turn it off.

·

Press DIMMER to enter the dimmer mode.

Safety cut-off

:

·

The appliance is fitted with a safety cut-off switch that is triggered when the appliance

gets too hot. The appliance does not reset itself, for safety reasons.

·

To reset the appliance, unplug it from the mains for at least 15 minutes. After 15 

minutes you can plug the appliance in again and turn it on.

·

CAUTION:

 In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal 

cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, 

such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switch on and off by the 

utility.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Changing light bulbs

:

·

Always pull the plug out of the wall socket before changing bulbs.

·

The light bulbs can become very hot during use. Let them cool down before changing

them.

·

It is recommended that the appliance is laid on its back for this operation.

·

Carefully slide the glass panel upwards and remove it.

·

There is a bulb cover on the bottom of the fireplace that is held in place by 8 screws.

Remove the screws and take off the bulb cover. (fig. 5)

·

To access the bulbs, carefully lift the foil. (fig. 6)

·

Unscrew any light bulbs that need to be changed.

·

Replace the light bulbs with new ones. Do not overly tighten!

·

Return the foil to its original position.

·

Screw the bulb cover back on.

·

Replace the glass panel.

Cleaning

:

·

Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket before cleaning.

·

Use a soft, dry cloth.

·

Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

·

Never use glass cleaner that leaves a protective coating on the glass.
