Preliminary operations
7.4.1
Insertion of the cooling liquid
The cooling liquid (distilled and deionized water) is required to cool the laser source.
The machine is supplied with a container featuring the correct quantity of cooling liquid
.
OBLIGATION!: Use only the cooling liquid container supplied with the machine.
To insert the liquid, please proceed as indicated below:
•
Connect the supplied cooling liquid top-up tube to the female connector (Fig. 7-18) on the rear of the machine;
•
Manually remove the black cap (Fig. 7-18
) from the “overflow” tube located on the upper rear of the machine;
WARNING!: Hold the overflow tube firmly (Fig. 7-18) when removing its black cap, to ensure it does not become dislodged.
•
Hold the free end of the top-up tube, insert the supplied funnel in this end and, while holding the tube in vertical position, fill
the tank with cooling liquid (Fig. 7-19): the correct cooling liquid level in the tank is reached when water starts flowing out of
the upper “overflow” tube;

•
Release the top-up tube from the lower female connector by pressing on the release tooth;
•
Place the top-up tube and the funnel in the box for transporting the machine or in another environment/room used for its
storage;
•
Purge any air bubbles from the circuit:

Switch the machine power to on (please refer to paragraph 8.3);
▪
Insert the ignition key “ON”;
