Adjusting a cutter

Set the planing depth to 0.

Turn the screws in or out to determine the

correct adjustment. The cutter is properly

adjusted when the cutting edge touches the

surface of the workpiece.

Setting the planing depth (fig. 5)

Turn the adjustment knob (4) until the desired

planing depth is reached.

Instructions for use

Clamp the workpiece.

Make sure that the knives has reached full

speed before they touch the workpiece.

Guide the machine at a constant speed

across the material to be worked. Do not guide

the machine across the workpiece too fast.

Allow the machine enough time to plane the

workpiece.

Hold the machine with both hands using both

grips. This ensures optimum control over the

machine.

For large surfaces it is recommended to make

several shallow cuts at a smaller planing depth.

Take the machine from the workpiece after

use before switching off.

Place the machine onto the parking shoe

when putting the machine down.

Switching on and off (fig. 5)

To switch the tool on, keep the lock-off button

(2) depressed and press the on/off switch (1).

To switch the tool off, release the on/off switch

(1).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The machine does not require any special

maintenance.

Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
