Cleaning

Ho using

The housing may be kept clean by w iping w ith a damp cloth. This should be
done w ith the unit disconnected from the supply. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Do not allow liquid to enter the unit.

Stimulus Display Screen

Dust and small deposits on the stimulus display screen can be “blow n clear”
w ith a clean supply of air. An aerosol can air duster, designed for this purpose
is preferable to blow ing by mouth. A soft lens brush can also be used to
remove deposits.

Headrest Pad

The headrest pad should be w iped betw een patients w ith a suitable sterilising
w ipe.

Patient Respo nse Butto n

The response button should be w iped clean w ith a suitable, sterilising w ipe.
The cable should be checked for cracks and splits regularly.
